
US Police shot dead a man who threw a threat to the police. This man openly threatened to kill police and FBI agents.
Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood of the Upper Darby, Philadelphia, as reported by AFP on Wednesday (12/31/2014), said that the threat actors threw a white man and aged about 52 years.
"Threatening to kill police, threatened to kill the FBI agents," Chitwood said, adding that the threat was submitted via a video posted to YouTube.
Chitwood explained, when police managed to stop the vehicle offender, the offender instead backed his car and tried to hit a police chief Clifton with his car.
Five police officers at the site was forced to release a shot toward the offender. "They shot and killed him," Chitwood said.
"He uses his car as a weapon. They (police) do what they should do," he added.
Police did not release the identity of the perpetrators, but the local media, Philly.com identified as Joseph Pacini.
The violence against the police has increased in the US, especially after the shooting incident black teenagers Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri in August and choking to death a black man, Eric Garner in New York in July.
