Australian Terrorist Attack:  Want End to Peace, Police Will Negotiate Until Tonight!!

Sydney. - Police continue to negotiate with hostage actors Lindt Cafe, Sydney Australia, which has been going on since around 9 am local time. Police are determined to resolve this crisis peacefully and ready to continue to work until late at night.


Deputy Chief of Police of New South Wales, Catherine Burn confirmed, police negotiators were talking directly to the gunman who took hostages.

"Our approach is to solve this peacefully, it will probably take time, but this is our approach," She said as reported by News.com.au, Monday (12/15/2014). Burn It is said, the police intend to work until the evening if necessary. (Internasional : Siege in Martin Place, Sydney 15 Des 2014)

"It's still going on. We still have people who are held hostage, there is one person (the perpetrator) that we handle. The good news, we have five people who have been out of the building," She said.


Burn also said the current police negotiators best in the world is to communicate with the actors hostage.
However Burn declined to say how many people are still being held in the cafe. He also declined to say requests or demands of the hostage-takers.

Earlier, Prime Minister Tony Abbott said the perpetrators appeared to be politically motivated. But Burns declined to comment in more detail on the matter due to operational reasons.
